I ran the Ragnar Relay for again this year and I decorated the van with illustrations that didn't really make sense beyond referencing some of the conversations in our van.  It got a lot of good reactions from the other runners.  It's really fun to transform a big white van into a piece of graffiti.

Here's a Margaret Kilgallen-style Blue Valentine interperetation I made this year.  I just found it after burying it on a hard drive.  I think I was going to do and illustration for every song on the album but moved on after this one and a half-way finished Somewhere.

I just turned 28 while finishing up this new inspirational poster.   As you can probably tell I'm really digging the fox.  The idea came from documentaries I was watching about life in the wild adapting and persevering.  That being said, I made it through the cursed age for rock stars and I'm wishing everyone the best kind of inspiration there is: the kind from the heart more than the head.  I didn't make it these amazing 28 years by doing it any other way.  Best to all as we spin along on this big bold adventure...
